Pick a quote
Every verified mower who covers your suburb gets your listing on their phone and sends a price. None of them can see the others, so each one quotes what the job is worth to them. You get an email as each quote lands.
- Next to each price: their rating, photos of their work, and how soon they can come.
- Verified means checked. ABN looked up, identity confirmed through Stripe, and a person at Mowie approves them before a quote reaches you.
- Hire with one tap. That's the first time you add a card, and nothing is charged yet.
Approve the photo
On the day your mower taps "on my way", mows, and sends you a photo of the finished lawn. You look at it. If it's right, you tap approve and only then is your card charged. The mower is paid within two days.
- Not right? Say so from the same screen. Nothing is charged while it's sorted, and a person at Mowie reads both sides.
- Gone quiet? It approves itself after 48 hours, so a mower who did the job isn't left waiting.
- Liked it? One tap makes it weekly or fortnightly with the same mower at the same price.

We don't own a mower. Local people who do quote your lawn through the app, and a few rules keep it honest for both sides.
Quotes are private
Mowers can't see each other's prices, so it isn't a race to the bottom and you aren't haggled.
Photo before payment
The card is charged when you approve the finished-lawn photo. Not before, not on a promise.
Measured, not guessed
The lawn area comes from the aerial and the land data, so quotes are for your lawn, not a lawn.
Mowers keep most of it
They pay 10% + GST* on jobs they win and nothing to be listed. You pay nothing extra.

Make it regular
Weekly, fortnightly or every four weeks, same mower, same price, on a day you both agree. Skip a visit or pause for the holidays from the plan page.
Rained out? Reschedule
Either of you can suggest a new day and time of day. The other says yes, or suggests another, until it suits. Nothing moves without the two of you agreeing.

The ones people ask before their first listing
Do I have to be home?
No. Most jobs happen while people are at work. Say how to get in when you list, and the mower has it on the job page. If the gate's locked, they'll message you before they leave.
What if I don't like any of the quotes?
Then don't hire. The listing costs nothing and there's no card on file. It closes by itself after three days, and you can list again any time.
What does a standard visit include?
Mow every lawn area you marked, trim the edges along paths, driveway, fences and beds, and blow the clippings off hard surfaces. Clippings go in your green bin unless you asked for removal. Weeding, hedges and green-waste removal are extras you agree in chat.
What if it rains on the day?
Either of you suggests a new day and time of day from the job page, and the other confirms. It's rebooked without a phone call, and nothing is charged for a visit that didn't happen.
