City of Manningham	Manningham's Nature Strip Guide 2023 says the council does no renovation or proactive maintenance of nature strips and relies on the established community expectation that the owner or resident mows, weeds, picks up litter and levels the surface; it owns every tree on the strip for the life of the tree. Approved plantings stay under 500 mm (300 mm near intersections). The green-lid bin for food and garden waste has been weekly since 3 July 2023, with garbage and recycling fortnightly on alternate weeks.	27 Sep 2026

On the Nillumbik side residents may mow exotic-grass strips in urban kerbed streets and clear fine fuels from the road reserve, must leave indigenous vegetation alone, and get a weekly green-lid bin inside the $679.87 waste charge for 2025-26.	12 Sep 2026
