Claim a founding seatBefore you list: three things worth telling a mower about a Mornington lawn
- Which end: the old town, or Tanti Park and beyond toward Mount Martha? Give the nearest cross street and the gate width: under 70 cm is push-mower only.
- Say whether you have opted into the Shire's $178 green bin. Without it, ask for mulch-mowing or clippings taken away.
- Trees over the lawn or a street tree on the strip: mention them. Street trees are the Shire's, and removing one needs a permit.

Around $100-$145 per visit for a 180 m² Mornington lawn in our model. The guide is an average; the bids are for your lawn at its measured size.
Do I have to mow my own nature strip in Mornington?+
Yes. The Shire's wording is that homeowners or their tenants are responsible for the nature strip's maintenance and upkeep, including mowing and edging. The Shire maintains the street trees it plants and nothing else on the strip. Add it to your listing.
