Claim a founding seatBefore you list: three things worth telling a mower about a Lynbrook lawn
- Lynbrook Heights lots are the larger ones and sit on the hill. Say if the lawn slopes, and whether the machine can get around the side.
- Backing onto the western linear reserve and its wetland? Say whether there is a fence on the rear boundary and whether the back lawn holds water.
- The green bin is fortnightly. Pick bin, mulch or taken away on the listing before the mower arrives.
Lynbrook lawn mowing questions
How much does lawn mowing cost in Lynbrook?+
$100-$145 is what our model gives 180 m² of Lynbrook lawn for a single cut. A Lynbrook Heights block measures bigger than that on the aerial and the bid follows the measurement.
Is the nature strip council-mown in Lynbrook?+
No. Casey owns it but leaves an urban strip to the people at the property, with no published height; overgrown grass is the Community Local Law 2025's concern. Put it on the listing to have it done with the lawn.
Are the blocks in Lynbrook big?+
The 1999 Lynbrook Heights release, the triangle between the South Gippsland Highway and Hallam Road, offered blocks greater than 650 square metres, larger than the earlier releases. Elsewhere the lots come from those earlier releases. The aerial measurement on your listing settles it for your own lawn.
About Lynbrook
The estate's stormwater is its feature. Runoff is caught and sent through a lake and wetlands where it is cleaned before it reaches Dandenong Creek, and the reserve that carries it runs the length of the western boundary. The Urban Land Corporation released the first stage of Lynbrook Heights in 1999, a triangle between the South Gippsland Highway and Hallam Road, on blocks larger than the earlier releases, greater than 650 square metres, with city views from the hill and a recreation area called Tower Hill. Lynbrook Primary opened in January 2005. The shopping centre came in 2007, St Francis de Sales in 2010, the railway station north of Aylmer Road on 22 April 2012 and the community centre on 30 May 2015.
The first releases date from 1994 and Lynbrook Heights from 1999, so most lawns here are well established and cut at ordinary height. The difference between them is the lot: a Lynbrook Heights block is bigger and sits on the hill, so tell the mower whether the lawn slopes and which way. Banjo Paterson Park is the large recreation reserve, with walking and cycling paths, a playground and an oval. The northern triangle of the suburb is mostly industrial. The population went from 4,489 in 2006 to 9,121 in 2021.
Lynbrook is City of Casey, and the nature strip is council land that the household keeps, in Casey's words; no grass-height figure exists, and overgrown grass belongs with the Community Local Law 2025, applied from 2 March 2026. Urban street trees are on a three-year council pruning cycle. A fortnightly green-lid bin, food waste and garden waste together, reaches every residential property by 2026.
