About Hoppers Crossing
The kikuyu and couch on these blocks have had sixty years to thicken into the basalt clay, and in October and November that grass grows faster than most people plan for. A fortnight is a real fortnight's worth. Skip a cut and the next one is slower and dearer, because you cannot take more than about a third of the leaf in one go without leaving the lawn yellow and open to weeds.
