About Glen Waverley

The ground goes from river flats to hills, so the eastern streets near Dandenong Creek and Jells Park are flat and damp in winter, and the western ones climb; a tributary of Scotchmans Creek runs through as well. The soil is the east's loam; couch and kikuyu on the open blocks, buffalo under the trees that have had sixty years to grow. Edging on a wide frontage and a long driveway is a real share of the visit.
City of Monash owns the nature strip and expects the owner or occupier to keep it maintained; overgrown strips are reported with a photo and investigated.
